'Songs for a Summer's Evening

The St Anne’s Primary School Choir has been running for over 5 years. It was initially set up to give the children the opportunity to be part of a welcoming and inclusive space where they can

express themselves creatively and feel part of a community. It encourages singing for enjoyment while giving pupils the chance to explore a wide range of songs and styles.

 

We now have over 60 members and meet every Thursday morning before school, led by Mrs Jo Harvey (Headteacher) and Mrs Sam Ross (TA/ Student Teacher) and our school hall fills with energy, enthusiasm and enjoyment!

 

Through regular practice and performances, our children build confidence, teamwork, and a sense of achievement, developing not only their musical skills but also their self-belief as they share their voices with others.
